| Dear Danny: I have been playing backgammon for only two years. Every time I go to my local backgammon club, I feel that I am donating $10 to the better players. Last week this position came up and naturally, I didn’t have a clue regarding which play to make:
(Problem in the Point) There is so much going on here with regard to both checker play and the score that I couldn’t even figure out where to begin. Can you give me a road map that at least shows a path to understanding what I’m up against?—Lost in the fog. |
